PUMP Mentee Application (2024-2025)

Thank you for your interest in being a mentee for the Psychology Undergraduate Mentorship Program (PUMP).

PUMP matches undergraduate students in psychology with a graduate student mentor in psychology for guidance in navigating the application process for graduate school as well as research positions. You can expect to have individual or group meetings with your mentor at least four times over the academic year to discuss how your mentor could assist with your academic goals and objectives for graduate school, whether that is figuring out what type of program to apply to, polishing your CVs/application materials, or how to obtain research experience before applying.

PLEASE NOTE: If we reach our maximum capacity for mentees this year, you will be placed on a waitlist and will be notified by PUMP if a mentor match becomes available later in the year.

In addition to our one-on-one mentor-mentee pairing, PUMP also offers group mentorship where you could be placed in a small group with a graduate mentor and some fellow mentees. We understand that the application process leading up to graduate school can be stressful and students might not always know where to begin. Our intention with group mentorship is to provide you with the opportunity to share experiences, insights, and concerns with a fellow peer that would hopefully benefit your mentorship experience.
